The story of the Woodcutter:

On his first day in the job the lumberjack was keen to impress his new boss so he worked his fingers to the bone and cut down 20 trees. On his second day, wanting to impress even more he worked even harder but only cut down 15 trees. This trend continued for a few days until he decided to ask the foreman for some help. "I don't understand it, I've been working harder and harder each day, but I seem to be cutting down less trees". His foreman simply replied: "when was the last time you sharpened your axe?"

After spending 20 years in the Property business, I decided I needed to make a change. I had lost some of my sharpness and so embarked on a journey to transform myself both physically and mentally and am now in a much better space for it. The story of the Woodcutter resonated with me as it was like holding up a mirror to how I was living my life, working incredibly hard but forgetting to keep myself sharp in the process.

That's what Woodcutter Fitness is all about, I consider exercise, fitness, good health and nutrition to be our axe. We need to keep these elements sharp to ensure we perform optimally in other areas of our life - be that at work or with our family.

I love working with people and get immense satisfaction out of helping them to achieve their goals. I don't believe in shortcuts, instead I will work with you to ensure what we are doing is sustainable, achievable and life lasting.
